Dr. Tricia Markusen, M.D.
Dr. Tricia Markusen is passionate about bringing the best healthcare to her patients. Nearing 20 years of practice in Monterey County, Dr. Markusen has developed a long lasting and respectable reputation. Obtaining her B.A. in Biological Sciences at Wellesley College and spending one year at St. John's College in England, she went on to complete her education with a M.D. from UCLA in 1996. After, she completed and graduated from OB/GYN residency program as Chief Resident at UCLA Hospital in 2000. As an American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) certified doctor, board member, and fellow in the American College of Obstetrics Gynecology (ACOG), Dr. Markusen has continued to provide exceptional services and help many patients throughout Monterey County.When Dr. Markusen is not providing the needs of her patients, she cares for her three children who currently attend school in the area and college away. She often takes part in water polo events, in which her sons play at UC Irvine.
Dr. Donelle Laughlin, M.D.
Dr. Donelle Laughlin has been in practice in Monterey County since 2003. Receiving her B.S. in Animal Science at UC Davis, she went on to earn her M.S. in Physiology at the The Chicago Medical School, and completed her education with a M.D. from UCLA in 1996. After, she stayed on a UCLA OB/GYN residency training and was selected by her peers as Chief Resident at the medical center in 2000. Since, then Dr. Donelle Laughlin has spent more than 10 years on the Quality Assessment Committee at the Community Hospital of Monterey County (CHOMP) which focuses on patient safety and quality of care. She also resided as chair and is currently vice chair of the Department of OB/GYN at CHOMP Hospital. As an American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) certified doctor, board member, and fellow in the American College of Obstetrics Gynecology (ACOG), Dr. Laughlin consistently applies her high level expertise and exceptional care on a daily basis. Alongside being a top doctor in Monterey County, Dr. Laughlin has three children and lives on a farm. She is passionate about horses and enjoys gardening and visiting her children at their workplace.
